2025, Tercentenary of the Birth of Pasquale Paoli: Internet users can vote for their favourite logo

Labels made by the CDC to celebrate in 2025 the birth of Pasquale Paoli

In 2025, we celebrate the tercentenary of the birth of Pasquale Paoli. Born in Morosaglia on April 6, 1725, the “Father of the Nation” will be honoured throughout the year. For this purpose, the Collectivity of Corsica (CDC) is launching a logo to “identify all the events and initiatives that will mark this year of commemoration.”

The three-hundredth anniversary of the birth of the Father of the Nation will be a notable year, with a profusion of activities throughout 2025. The Collectivity of Corsica and its partners, in line with Paoli’s values of modernity and openness, are committed to offering a diverse, rich, and top-notch program. Associative projects, events in the heart of our towns and beyond, as well as actions driven by Corsica’s vibrant forces, will weave this fabric that will highlight the figure of Pasquale Paoli.

The CDC invites internet users to choose between three graphic proposals to determine which label will be visible everywhere this year to accompany the commemorations. Voting is open until February 25. We can vote for “A Firma,” “A Stampa,” and “L’Abbrivu,” a selection of which can be seen in the featured image above. It should be noted that each proposal is available in different colours, as seen on the CDC website.

The detailed programme of celebrations to mark the tercentenary of the birth of Pasquale Paoli will be available shortly.
