Bonifacio is the most welcoming town in Corsica according to Booking.com users

The town of Bonifacio, south Corsica

In an article published this week, the radio station “Ici” revealed the ranking of regions and cities chosen by Booking.com users as the most “welcoming.” The “Traveller Review Awards 2025” are based on about 240 million reviews of accommodations in 220 countries.

While last year Corsica ranked first among French regions, this time it achieved a respectable second place, just after Brittany. Alsace came in third. There seems to be a link between the quality of the holiday experience and the choice of a destination with a strong cultural, historical, and linguistic identity.

Regarding cities, the article by Ici radio mentions that Bonifacio claimed the top spot in Corsica in the ranking of the most welcoming towns according to Booking.com users. The top 5 is completed by Propriano, San Fiurenzu (Saint Florent), Porto Vecchio, and Isula Rossa (L’Ile Rousse).
